REDCLIFFE ON THE NEWS
Lalit Kumar Verma (CEO of Redcliffe Medical Devices, aka “leaf masks”) and Naresh Goyal (former CEO of JetAirways) planned a consortium bid of $500million dollars on the failing Indian airline in 2019. Goyal was later arrested for money laundering in March 2020. Subsequent charges for diverting money to illegal personal accounts in foreign countries were filed in Sept. 2020. The case is ongoing.
Issues: failure to maintain financial reports and public concern over continual losses ($3,947million)
